Shea butter is a natural product issued from the Shea nuts of the Butyrospermum Parkii, a savanna tree that grows in Central and West Africa. This exceptional robustness tree can live for more than three centuries! From the nuts, an ultra rich beige paste is extracted, which will be transformed in butter.
Shea butter has many restorative properties. It softens, moisturizes, and deeply nourishes the skin. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, F, and fatty acids, this skin care ingredient naturally has multiple benefits.

NOURISHING KARITE OIL All the active ingredients in Panier des Sens products have been selected for their cosmetic quality and Provençal history. One, however, stands out for its far-flung origins and universal benefits. Shea is a natural active ingredient derived from the shea nut, a wild West African tree: Butyrospermum Parkii. This exceptionally robust tree can live for up to three centuries! A rich beige paste is extracted from the nut, which is then processed into butter. Shea oil is obtained by filtering the Shea Butter at low temperature. Enriched with fatty acids and unsaponifiables, it has nourishing, regenerating and softening properties. It also helps the skin better defend itself against dehydration and external aggressions.
